Call for innovation projects in quantum technologies
The ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation invites Quebec SMEs wishing to carry out an innovation project for the development and commercialization of quantum technologies to apply for financial assistance for innovation projects in quantum technologies.
The call aims to support innovation in quantum technologies resulting from research and development in the following areas:
- quantum computing
- quantum communication
- quantum materials
- quantum metrology and detection
Examples of funded projects
Stream 1 is intended for quantum technology startups that are currently receiving (or plan to receive) support from one of the four incubators of the Quebec Quantum Entrepreneurship Consortium. Contact the Consortium
Stream 2 is aimed directly at small and medium-sized quantum technology companies that will be producing goods and services or conducting in-house research and development activities.
International Outreach
In collaboration with the ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie, the ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie and Invest Québec, Québec Quantique is working with Québec’s international representatives to:
- Create new research partnerships;
- Promote Québec to important players in the sector;
- Attract foreign companies to do business in Québec;
- Recruit new talent.
